Publication: Privately printed, 1948, NP
9" x 6" in colorful pictorial wrappers. (32) pp. color illustrations, prologue, epilogue. 8 pages of color photographs, most 2 photos per page but a few full-page photos. A nicely produced booklet offering a thorough history of central Florida with its expanse of lakes, rivers, sink holds, and giant springs. In the center of this area rises the greatest of springs, Silver Springs, a spring that produces nearly 550 million gallons of crystal-clear water daily; a spring that greatly influenced the history of the Indians in the area. Last 4 pages of text offers questions and answers pertaining to the Silver Springs. A very interesting booklet with much information. Very good plus.
