Complete serial of this key Continental Op story, first published as "The Big Knock-Over" in Black Mask Vol.9, No.12 (February 1927). This marks the story's first appearance published in the U.K., issued with a modified title between November 6-December 11, 1937 by the British weekly magazine The Thriller Library. Rare; not recorded in Richard Layman's descriptive bibliography of Dashiell Hammett; OCLC shows 4 locations with any holdings. Housed in a clamshell case with titles on the front cover and spine. Rare.
