The first 32 pages of this book are Knox the Hatter's trade catalog of Fall & Winter Styles, 1893-94, showing 63 hats made by Knox: high silk hats, derbies, tyroleans, traveling hats, ladies' tarpaulin hat, oxford cap, boy's reefer, bicycle cap, yachting cap, etc. This booklet is aimed at Spanish speaking visitors arriving in New York City en route to the Exposition and begins with a detailed description and guide to hotels, theaters and other accommodations in that city, to include a visit to Coney Island. Then offers detailed information about Chicago and then about the World's Fair. Information on Knox Factory and its display at the World's Fair. The text is bilingual: English on the upper half of each page, Spanish on the lower half. Illustrated with plates to include pictures of buildings at the fair: the Woman's Building, the Place of Fine Arts, the Building of Electricity, the Administration Building, the Federal Building, the Mines and Mining building, etc. Numerous full-page advertisements. Last 3 pages offer poems. Corners and spine rubbed as well as binding worn, else a very tight, internally good copy.
