First edition. Author's first novel. Edgar Award Winner for Best First Mystery Novel. Slight spine slant, else very good in dust jacket, lightly sunned on the spine and darkened along fore-edges. Squaw Point was of no interest to Dr. Haney. It was, however, of interest to Miro Tokin, a fisherman, hunter and trader. It was also of interest to Nels Borgeson, a Coast Guard officer who was overly concerned about hijackers. And it was of interest to Gusti Lundt, a young school teacher. No one expected to find Preacher White leaning against the back wall of the cannery, murdered with a fishing knife.
