Written in his capacity as Chairman of the membership committee of The Authors Guild of the Authors League of America, Inc. to American Science Fiction author and editor Reginald Bretnor (1911 – 1992) requesting a payment of owed back dues or an immediate resignation from the group. The letter is both considerate of the circumstances and tactfully done, but a prompt answer is expected.
