Publication: Rinehart & Company, Inc, 1948, New York
First edition. A near fine, bright, square copy with minor wear to the foot of spine, in dust jacket, lightly sunned on the spine and with a few tiny nicks to the spine ends, corners and extremities. Contains the required publisher's initial at the bottom of the copyright page. Johnny Marr is grief-stricken because of the death of the girl he loved. He wants to extract revenge for her death and he does so in a way that costs five people their lives. In our opinion, perhaps Woolrich's finest tale in the "Black" series of books. An attractive copy.
