First edition. 18" x 20" sheet folded to 20 panels, each 9" x 4. 2-panel self covers showing a scene of bathing beauties and printed in green and black. 2-panels with information on, The World's 25 Mile Speedway at Long Beach, Washington. Remaining panels with general information about the area to include info on agriculture, nature, sports, lumber, birds and flowers, transportation population, the fish industry, etc. Includes photos of bathing at Tokeland Beach, streets at Ilwaco, the fish hatchery in Chinook, the huge lumber mill in Raymond, as well as the South Bend waterfront. Opposite 10 panels offers a map entitled "Queen of the Northwest Resorts. Showing Auto Loop Routes Over the Ocean Beach-Olympic & Columbia River Highways to Pacific County, Washington Beaches." When the map was drawn and printed there were sections of the state highway on the Washington side which were still gravel and unimproved, and it marks as well the areas where ferries were needed for crossing. Surrounding the map are photos of various Pacific County industries and beach attractions. Splitting at folds along with wear to edges and 2" closed tear to head of front panel. A rare and wonderfully done Jazz Age brochure promoting the many recreational activities at the beaches in Pacific County, Washington during the 1920s.
