A 5" x 3 7/8" mounted albumen photograph. This is a small albumen carte de visite showing two women, likely prostitutes, posing provocatively in front of a store and dressed in skirts that barely cover their knees. One woman stands while the other sits with her legs crossed offering a view that would have been considered immodest at the time. Light fading and a few faint fox marks, else very good condition.
