Bridger and events in the life of it's founder Jim Bridger. "Rarity"--Cazedessus. History of Wyoming, early Fort Bridger and Jim Bridger, including the troubles with Brigham Young and his Mormon followers. "To give the busy traveler a sketch of the history of Fort Bridger, and of James Bridger, the man who founded it" -- Author's aim, page 2." Fort Bridger was originally a 19th-century fur trading outpost established on Blacks Fork of the Green River, in what is now Uinta County, Wyoming. It became a vital resupply point for wagon trains on the Oregon Trail, California Trail, and Mormon Trail. Lower fore-corner and .5"x1" piece missing near bottom of spine. Wrappers split along bottom 3.5" of spine, else very good. Very Scarce.
