A true account of horseback liquor smuggling across the Rio Grande during the prohibition era, from 1920 to 1933, giving detailed accounts of numerous gunfights between Texas State and Federal Officers and the Mexican horsebackers. Part Two of this book is an album of South Texas law enforcement officers, past and present, including photographs and a short biographical sketch of each man. The author's grandfather, father, and husband were all Texas Rangers. Fine in dust jacket with minor wear to spine ends and the extremities. Scarce title.
