Eberstadt 136: 667g says: "The work is the result of personal observation and experiences in the Dakota-Wyoming country extending over a period of some twelve years on the plains and in the Rocky Mountains." Six Guns 2238 says "Exceedingly rare" and "A very rare early imprint with some material on the vigilantes." Minor wear to the spine ends, a few light creases to the front cover, else a near fine, bright, tight copy of a rare item.
