17" x 22" folding map, that folds to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" size. Rare Utah road map from the early 1930s, published by the Mid-West Map Company of Aurora, Missouri. One side of the sheet contains a fairly detailed delineation of the Utah road system and geographical features. The reverse side contains a list of service stations "authorized" by the map company, as well as an index of Utah cities and towns with their locations in the map grid and population statistics from the 1930 census. OCLC locates three copies, at Yale, Cornell, and the University of Chicago. Very light soiling to the folded wrappers, else a near fine copy.
