First edition. 4" x 6 1/2" pictorial wrappers, 48 pp., illustrated, map. Provides comments and suggestions for travel, sight-seeing, cities and towns, counties, mountains, lakes, rivers and creeks, railroads, state institutions, etc. Color map of Montana affixed to inside rear cover, that shows oil domes and oil fields, as well as cities, parks, railroad lines, etc. Front cover contains the 48 pp. of text, rear cover containing the color map is detached from the guide, the map itself has about an 8" tear along one fold and several minor tears to other folds, with covers showing moderate wear to the extremities. Overall a good copy with text and map complete, but well-used over the years. A very informative guide and map booklet.
