The first is HOPI KATCINAS DRAWN BY NATIVE ARTISTS by Jesse Walter Fewkes. This classic study is greatly enhanced by the beautiful color plates that accompany the study, and comprises pages 1-129. The remainder of this volume presents IROQUOIAN COSMOLOGY by J. N. B. Hewitt, which is divided into 4 sections: Introduction, An Onondaga Version, A Seneca Version, and A Mohawk Version. Minor occasional wear to edges and corners, and a few small spots on the front panel. Small previous owners bookplate in upper corner of front endpapers. Otherwise a clean, tight copy of this large volume. The important color plates are in clean, bright, fine condition.
