In fact, the police suspect that Robie might be the mysterious jewel thief who is plaguing the Cote d'Azur. Made into the Alfred Hitchcock 1955 film of the same name that starred Cary Grant as John Robie, Grace Kelly, and Jessie Royce Landis. A sharp copy.
