Three Years In The Klondike

JEREMIAH LYNCH

Other works by JEREMIAH LYNCH

Publication: Edward Arnold, 1904, London

First edition. 8vo. Original brown cloth, titles stamped in gold gilt on the front cover and spine, [10], 280 pp. plus 16 pages of advertising, frontispiece, illustrated from photographs, folding color map. Arctic Bibliography 10490 says "The author writes of Dawson and life in the Klondike, 1898-1901." Lynch, a Californian of considerable means, went to the Klondike in 1898, to observe and invest. He was an intelligent observer --- this is one of the better books on the Gold Rush, and now quite scarce. Some light foxing to the front and rear endpapers, color folding map in fine condition, overall a near fine, bright, crisp, tight copy.
