Jonah Ives carries one in the basket on his bike; another is found on the seat of the Hazards' car, June Mundy is seen trying to bury her iron spider in the sand; and Mrs. Tuesome tries to toss her frying pan into the ocean. Not only are people seen in the most unlikely places and doing the most unlikely thing, but Asey is even more preoccupied with the fact that a pair of sneakers has disappeared from the feet of the corpse. What is going on???
