Publication: Press of The Texas Publication House, Inc, 1931, Dallas
First edition. 4to. Pictorial stiff wrappers, titles printed in red on the front cover, 64 pp., foreword, illustrated mostly from photographs, portraits, advertisements. A fascinating look at the Dallas Fire Department as it was at that point in history. Highlights include old photographs, a history of the department and a list of fire stations and where they were located. This publication was sold to raise money for the Dallas Firemen's Relief Fund. Included is advertising for Dallas businesses of the day. Very good copy housed in a cloth slipcase with titles stamped in gilt on a leather label that is mounted on the front cover.
