Publication: George Munro, Publisher, 1883, New York

First edition. Large quarto volume in tabloid newspaper format, printed in three columns per page. The front cover states that this volume is from The New York Sunday Advertiser Library. The title page advises that this bibliomystery story is from The Seaside Library, Volume LXXV, No. 1514, January 20, 1883. A mystery that revolves around a clue found in a rare book. There is a small hole in the front cover that partially affects the "A" and "R" in the word "Library," and light wear to the extremities, else a very good and serviceable copy of this extremely rare book. Only two other copies are known, one in the Library of Congress, and the other in the Cleveland Public Library. At the end of the story an alphabetical listing of all Seaside Library titles is provided. Extremely rare. Housed in a clamshell case with titles stamped in gold gilt on the spine.
