First edition. 8vo. 8 1/2" x 5 3/4" sewn pictorial wrappers, 32 pp., double column. The Nickel Library, Series Twelve, No. 276, June 24, 1882. On pages 26-27 is "THE SLEEP-WALKER" by A Young Attorney; pages 28-29 is "A WILD RIDE" by Hector Betram; and "CHINESE CHARMS" by an anonymous contributor on page 30. St. George H. Rathborne (1854-1938) is the author of this title and Marline Manly is one of his many pseudonyms. The Nickel Library was the first series to be priced lower than the standard "DIME NOVELS." Light wear to the spine and wrappers lightly toned, else a very good copy of the first issue of this title.
