A cattle baron returns from his travels to find his sons hate him while his wild daughter adores him, devoting her life to him. When he brings home a beautiful young wife, his daughter's love turns to hate and she plans to destroy him. Filmed in 1950 by Paramount as THE FURIES, directed by Anthony Mann, with Charles Schnee as screenwriter. The film starred Barbara Stanwyck, Wendell Corey, and Walter Huston.
