Illustrated from photographs taken by the author. Dykes' High Spots of Western Illustrating p. 59 says, " Dane Coolidge, sometimes historian and a better than average western novelist, was an itinerant photographer. He visited the roundups, camps, and ranches taking pictures everywhere." Dobie p. 62 says, "Thin, but genuine." Fine in internally reinforced dust jacket with spine lightly sunned.
