First edition. 7 1/8" x 5 1/8" in brown printed wrappers. Title and scrolling surrounding title in red. 91pp., fronicepiece, contents, illustrated, two folding maps. Not in Adam's HERD, though it has information on stock raising. A nicely printed work promoting Hood, Erath, Comanche, Brown, McCulloch, Grayson, Lamar, Denton, Collin, Tarrant, Johnson, Dallas, Wilbarger, and Hardeman counties. The smaller of the folding maps depicts the "Frisco System." The large folding map [16" x 16"] is entitled "Correct Map Of A Portion Of The State Of Texas Tributary To The Frisco And Rock Island Systems." Small map fine; large map with closed 1" tear to side of map. Front wrapper with glue residue at top edge and also residue from removal of reinforcement tape to head and toe of spine along with 1/2" splits to head and toe of spine. Rear wrapper with 1/8" x 1/4" hole to top corner. Light wear to the extremities. Very good. Scarce.
