Dobie Life & Literature of the Southwest p. 61 says: "The tales are tall all right and true to cows that never saw a milk bucket." Former owner's bookplate on the front pastedown sheet, inked ownership name and date on the front free fly leaf, light wear to the spine ends and corners, else a very good copy.
