Author relates her life as a ranch woman on the Coastal Plains of Texas in the early part of the 20th Century. Life on the large Bolling Ranch in Jackson County, Tx, which was established in 1858.

Former owner's inked name on the front free fly leaf, else a fine bright copy in a bright dust jacket, lightly sunned on the spine, and with one small closed tear to the bottom edge of the front cover, a nick to the bottom corner of the rear cover and minor wear to the extremities.
