A thriller about a mute servant girl threatened by a killer who has a penchant for murdering the handicapped. The young girl, who has not been able to speak since childhood, must somehow call for help before becoming the killer's next victim. Light offsetting to front and rear endpapers, else fine in dust jacket, with light, internal, professional restoration to spine ends and corners. A scarce title and an exceptional copy.
