Black cloth binding, full-size color illustration on the front cover, titles stamped in gilt on the spine, color pictorial front and rear endpapers, x, 263 [1] pp., preface, illustrated in color and black & white. The page facing the title page has five Will James titles beginning with SAND as the first one. This copy satisfies all the issue points as described by Don Frazier in his descriptive bibliography "The Will James Books." A bright, tight and clean copy with a tiny chip to the edge of the full-page color illustration on the front cover, in the elusive and bright dust jacket with light wear to the spine ends and spine panel. Overall a fine, bright, tight copy. An exceptional copy of a scarce book.
