Included are biographies of doctors who served the remote areas to administer to epidemic sticken families, pioneering settlers, and miners who obtained wealth or sadly toiled hard to find nothing. Also information on Captain Jack, the Modocs, and a general history of the Mt. Shasta area. Near fine in dust jacket with light wear to the spine ends.
