PART 1: lxxix + xxvi, 770pp. xxx,226pp. PART 2: lxxix, 467pp.,597pp. The first volume, Part 1 includes Testimony Taken By The CommitteeOn Indian Affairs Of The Senate In Relation To Leases Of Lands In The Indian Territory And Other Reservations Under The Resolution Of The Senate Of December 3, 1884. It also includes Testimony Taken By A Sub-Committee Of The Committee Of Indian Affairs Of The United States Senate, In Relation To The Condition Of The Indian Tribes In The Indian Territory, And Upon Other Reservations, Under Resolutions Of The Senate Of June 11 And December 3,1884, And February 23, 1885. Montana And Dakota. The second volume, Part 2 continues the report of conditions among various tribes located in the Indian Territory The lengthy Appendix (pages 1-597) presents United States vs Rogers, on petition for warrant of removal and habeas corpus, with opinion by the famous judge of the Western District of Arkansas, Judge Issac Parker, as well as numerous other conditions. Although both volumes are internally clean and tight, the original leather bindings are in poor condition. Spines are present and complete, but in need of repair. Lower half of the spine of the first volume is almost detached, but hanging on.
