Streeter Sale 2387: "An account of herding in the Cherokee Strip in the seventies." The author was one of the early presidents of the Cherokee Strip Livestock Association in the early seventies. Adams Six Guns 1486: "Rare. Merrill Aristocrats of the Cow Country: "His book is a vivid portrayal of the business of the Cattle-barons on the plains and as he stated in the title 'How a Fortune Was Made in Cattle.'"
