[24 pp.], accordion-style, with each panel color illustrated with a Pullman railroad car on the front panel and photograph illustrated and text illustrations on the verso in black & white, with all borders in cream and green colors.
This inventive color illustrated brochure traces the history of Pullman Cars from the "Old No. 9" which was the first Pullman sleeper car ever built, through the 1876 Centennial sleeper that featured hot water and air brakes, the 1907 first all-steel car, the 1929 air-conditioned car, and in 1942 the Duplex-Roomette car designed for use with their Streamline Pullman trains. Photograph illustrations on the verso emphasize the advantages and sleekness of the first aluminum sleeping car in 1933, a streamlined car train in 1934 complete with bedroom suites and more in 1942.
