Numerous illustrations of buildings such as "The Portland Hotel," "Chamber of Commerce," "Hotel Perkins," "Willamette Iron And Steel Works," "Saint Helen's Hall" et. al. Included is a double panoramic view entitled "Bird's Eye View Of Portland, Oregon." "The object of this publication is to present to the world the advantages of Portland, Oregon, as a place to reside, as a place to engage in business, and as a place enjoying the requisite educational and social attributes necessary for the proper rearing of a family." Briefly describes the population, industries, Portland as a financial center, transportation facilities, mining center, points of interest, educational center, et. al. Perfect bound spine lightly sunned along with fore-edges of front and rear wrappers, light wear to top of spine and along bottom edge of rear wrapper, 2" closed tear to fore-edge of pages 51 & 52.
