Laid-in is a hand written letter to a Tucson bookseller dated September, 1991 in which she thanks him for buying her book and tells of other books she has written. These memories, often times very personal, tell of Jean and Dan's life together from the time they met in 1946 until Dan's death in 1977. Dan worked as an Arizona cowboy, law enforcement officer, prison guard, livestock inspector, and finally writer. He had three books published by the University of Arizona Press. Fine copy and scarce.
