Paladin, as well as reports on the growth of the Montana Cowbelles, the women’s auxiliary to the Montana’s Stockgrower’s Association who lobbied for the beef industry, education opportunities, and education fundraisers. Of particular interest are the reproductions of photographs shot by Jessamine Spear Johnson (1886-1977), granddaughter of Willis Bradford Spear who founded the historic Spear-O Ranch in Big Horn Country, providing an essential visual documentation of ranching in the West.
