Publication: Glendon Publishing, 1970, 1971, 1973, Sterling Heights

Each volume has color, pictorial stiff wrappers, 8vo. Volume I: 6th printing. [8], 120 pp., acknowledgements, introduction, illustrated. Introduction by the author. Volume II: 3rd printing. [11] [blank], 191 pp., acknowledgements, introduction, illustrated. Introduction by the author. Volume III UPPER PENINSULA: 3rd printing. Maps on inside front and rear covers, [11] [blank], 301 pp., about the author, acknowledgements, introduction, illustrated, map, bibliography. This three volume set provides much information about Michigan's ghost towns. The author says the towns in the Upper Peninsula are easier to locate because abandoned houses and buildings still stand. However most towns in lower Michigan are more difficult to locate as modern roads make them much more difficult to locate. A near fine set.
