With the discovery of gold in 1914, people from all parts of the territory of Alaska and elsewhere rushed to the area in what was to become known as Alaska's last stampede. Adventure and the possibility of finding gold and becoming rich lured people to this remote area. Much information on what life was like while living in a mining camp. Fine copy.
