Rear inside back wrap map showing lands in Dallam, Sherman, Hansford, Ochiltree, Lipscomb, Hartley, Moore, Hutchinson, Roberts, Hemphill, Oldham, Potter, Carson, Gray and Wheeler counties which are for sale by C.C. Gibbs, Land Commissioner. Also includes information concerning all of the above listed counties. Previously, the land in these counties was reserved for the Houston & Texas Central Railway and the Texas & New Orleans Railroad Company. Now through C. C. Gibbs, Land Commissioner there are over one million acres of land available in these northernmost counties of the Texas Panhandle. "Our land is for sale cheap now, $1.50 to $3.00 an acre, less than half what the same land costs elsewhere." Mrs. Hays, twenty-six years in the Panhandle wrote in her 1905 testimonial that "Here we lived happily with our little girl. We made money. I can truthfully say there is no better country on the face of the green earth for making money than the Panhandle country. The winters are dry and the sunny days are fine for a feeder." An extremely rare land promotional. Front and rear covers moderately soiled, bottom corner with a small crease to first six pages, else a very good copy of a rare item.
