Former owner's stamp on front pastedown sheet (completely hidden by the dust jacket flap), a few pages show light evidence of corner crease, else a near fine copy in dust jacket lightly soiled on the rear cover and with a tiny nick to the lower front corner.. Lovejoy, that engaging antique dealer, is temporarily broke and earning an unstable living babysitting. So when he learned from a woman of a mythical "find" of Roman treasure, his instincts tell him the "find" is genuine and he'd better unravel the clues.
