One of the more entertaining cowboy memoirs. Author recalls his boyhood in Texas (he knew the Ketchums, Kid Curry, Charles M. Russell, and Sheriff Rhome Shield of San Angelo). He tells about wandering from ranch to ranch in the southwest, his trek to Montana with a trail herd, and his life thereafter among the people and ranches of the area. Near fine copy in price-clipped dust jacket with light wear to the spine ends and corners.
