From 1877 through 1883 the author traveled extensively throughout the West with her husband, Robert Strahorn who was head of publicity for the Union Pacific Railroad. Her well-written, entertaining narrative relates the many thrilling, and occasionally humorous incidents that occurred in their travels. Covers Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, Montana, Idaho, Arizona and New Mexico, cattle, ranching, Indians, mining, outlaws, etc. Profusely illustrated including many drawings by Charles M. Russell. Two tiny abrasions on the front free fly leaf , else a near fine, bright and tight copy without dust jacket, as issued.
