In the Spring of 1985, a group of volunteers found themselves with an opportunity to assist archeologists conducting the second of two back-to-back field projects at Custer Battlefield National Monument near Crow Agency, Montana. With all their equipment the "diggers" accompanied the archeologists and uncovered much of interest that pertained to the battle of June 25, 1876. Fine copy.
