First edition. 8" x 6 1/8" color, pictorial, stiff wrappers, 72 pp., illustrated from photographs, map. Many black & white photographs and full descriptions of Colorado's points of interest including the Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Ouray and Hayden Mountains, Colorado Springs, Loch Ivanhoe, Royal Gorge, glaciers, Glenwood Springs, and much more. A beautiful fold-out relief map affixed to the inside rear cover provides a birds-eye view of tourists' resorts and is in fine, unused condition. Cover art of Native American woman in the foreground and Mt. Evans in the background. Former owner's penciled name at top of front cover and front fly leaf, an old water stain to inside front cover and to the first six pages, small stain continues to the lower margin of the remaining pages but to a lesser degree, light wear to the foot of spine and covers lightly soiled. Internally a sound copy and overall a very good copy of one of the best railroad tourist brochures of its era that we have handled.
