Other works by TRAFTON, H. V.

Publication: Message typed by Sheriff H V Trafton, March 31, 1909, Santa Cruz

8" x 8 1/2" typed message that includes a 2" x 1 3/4" photograph of Edward Barocco, 32 years old, 5' 7" in height, and weighs 147 pounds. He speaks fair but broken English and has worked as a shoemaker or a cook.

According to the Sheriff "He emptied his gun at the officers near Watsonville on March 19th, while they were raiding a hobo camp, and made his get-away, but afterward we captured him. He claims to have been in Eureka, Mendocino County, Marin County, Sacramento, and Los Gatos. This is all we can get out of him, if you want him for anything, let me know, as it is my impression that he has got a record somewhere."
