Publication: George Routledge and Sons, 1887, London
First edition. 8vo. Pictorial wrappers, vi, 7 - 192 pp., frontis. [portrait of "Buffalo Bill"], advertisements. Six Guns 2401 says "Rare." "This is said to be the rarest book about Buffalo Bill." The book was written by an Englishman and was founded upon the many dime novels of its day and certainly is no authority on anything historical about the American West. Fore-edges of covers chipped, lower area of rear cover near the spine has a chip that also affects the margin of the last page [but not the text], wear to spine panel, and covers lightly soiled, else a good copy of a rare book, housed in a cloth and boards clamshell case with titles stamped in gold on the spine.
