Fall River County is the southwestern most county in South Dakota, directly adjacent to Nebraska and Wyoming, and south of the Black Hills. Records the brands of owners residing in the following South Dakota towns: Maitland, Cascade, Cheyenne Falls, Hot Springs, Oelrichs, Smithwick, Buffalo Gap, Sandstone, Hat Creek, Minnekahta, Custer City, Bakerville, Martin's Valley, Fairburn, Rocks, and Custer (many of which no longer exist as such). The Brand Book and its Supplement are bound together. The title page for the Brand Book is missing, otherwise in near fine condition.
