Ben Snipes owned more cattle than any other range man in the Pacific Northwest. The story of Ben, a penniless youth of 17, worked his way in 10 years to become the king of all Northwest cattlemen during 50 years of open-range empires. Six Guns 1993 says "Gives an account of the robbing of the Benjamin S. Snipes Bank in Roslyn, Washington, by Matt Warner and the McCarty brothers."
