The company even supplied a special "Palmistry Tent" for fortune tellers. The Anchor Supply Co. was originally founded in 1892 as a riverboat supply house on the Ohio River, and with the growing demand for waterproof covers, Louis Daus, the company's founder, expanded his canvas goods product line. The company still operates in Indiana employing 300 workers, and over 350,000 square feet of production space. A fine copy.
