An account of Crazy Horse and his leadership role within his tribe, as well as an account of his role in several battles against the U.S. Army. Of particular interest is the authors accounts of the Battle of the Little Big Horn and the Battle of the Rosebud. As a Brule Sioux Indian, Bordeaux gives an account from the Indian's perspective. This works precedes Bordeaux later books. A very good copy. A very scarce-rare early work by this author.
