Six Guns 1820: "He tells about many of his fellow prisoners of the Kansas and Missouri penitentiaries among them Bill Bryan, a former member of the James Gang." Ramon Adams did not know of this, the first edition. He cites the same publisher and place, but the 1890 edition as the first. This book went through several reprints and created a minor uproar for the barbarous conditions it exposed. Some minor rubbing to the spine ends and extremities. else a very good copy of this rare first edition.
