Three Years In The Klondike JEREMIAH LYNCH

Three Years In The Klondike

JEREMIAH LYNCH

Other works by JEREMIAH LYNCH

Publication: Edward Arnold, 1904, London

First edition. 8vo. Original brown cloth, titles stamped in gold gilt on the front cover and spine, [10], 280 pp. plus 16 pages of advertising, frontispiece, illustrated from photographs, folding color map. Arctic Bibliography 10490 says "The author writes of Dawson and life in the Klondike, 1898-1901." Lynch, a Californian of considerable means, went to the Klondike in 1898, to observe and invest. He was an intelligent observer --- this is one of the better books on the Gold Rush, and now quite scarce. Some light foxing to the front and rear endpapers, cloth lightly rubbed, a few pages carelessly opened, color folding map in fine condition, overall a very good copy.
